Luiz and Bianca Lima are a young couple who love Jesus and His mission. They are members of the First Baptist Church of Curitiba, where they grew up, came to know Jesus, were baptized, dated, and were married in April 2021. Both hold degrees in Theology from Faculdade Batista do Paraná, and Bianca also has a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Universidade Positivo. By God’s grace, they are now serving full-time in ministry, with Luiz acting as an assistant worship leader at PIB Curitiba.
In recent years, the Lord has been leading them to look to the nations and recognize the great need for the preaching of the Gospel and the care of local leaders in these places. Throughout their teenage years, a love for missions and for the nations was individually awakened in each of their hearts through strong involvement with missions at PIB Curitiba. This allowed them to preach the Gospel in places such as Ilha Rasa, Guaraqueçaba, Cracolândia in São Paulo, the Amazon, and other locations. This love for Christ’s mission has only grown stronger, especially after Bianca went on a mission trip to Mozambique in 2015, and Luiz traveled to South Korea in 2018. However, during a trip to Portugal in 2022, they experienced a profound transformation through the Holy Spirit, gaining a deeper awareness of God’s power and the gifts of the Spirit.
Today, they carry a message of expanding the Gospel through music and worship, both in the local church and among the nations, so that all may worship Him!
